EXTEMPORE

Extempore is a way to assess childs speaking skills as they acquire a new language.
Learners of KG-1 were given chance to speak about different means of communication as per their theme “HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES”. It was a great opportunity for children to show their speaking skills. No doubt these tiny ones displayed their learning very well. It was a great fun.

MAKING A RADIO COLLAGE

Fun learning is the best way to involve kids in their own learning. As per the theme “ HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES “ learners explored their learning about radio as a form of verbal communication  by making a creative collage with the help of coloured paper and colours.

ORDINAL NUMBERS

A number defining the position of something in a series is known to be the ordinal numbers. Learners were introduced with the concept of ordinal numbers by conducting a race and ended up by judging their peers as 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

MAKING OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL

The signals communicate with each other and adapt to changing traffic conditions to reduce the amount of time that cars spend idling.
Learners of KG 1 explored their learning about communication by learning that traffic signal is a form of non-verbal communication. Learners created  a beautiful traffic signal by dipping the cotton balls in red, yellow and green paint colours and prepared the traffic lights for pasting. It was a great fun learning for the learners.

 SKYPE SESSION

Speech is one of the most important forms of communication between humans. The internet has opened doors for us to communicate with people across the globe. Learners added up more to their learning about communication by having  a video calling session through skype between their peers.

"PRIORITISE THE FUN AND THE LEARNING WILL COME"

Children displayed the confidence and independence throughout the learning engagement. Children made Christmas Tree by pasting the paper strips considering the concept of longer and shorter in which they were supposed to follow the sequence which reflected their learning about the patterns too. They enjoyed and reflected well on taught concepts.
